The dedication of the lift to John A Pierson, Jr was a Grand success. Of particular note was the beautiful Barre marble plaque hung on the bottom terminal with a dedication of the lift to John. The Blodgett family attended the event and Leland Blodgett, the donor that finally helped us to realize the completion of the T-bar for the 2009/2010 season, was remembered for his kindness and generosity. Speeches by Steve Simpson, Leland's brother Putter Blodgett, and John's daughter Kay were very well received.
Big Thanks You's go out to the Waterbury VT radio station WDEV (550 AM) for broadcasting the ceremony, Vermont Ski Area Association and Vermont Ski Museum for underwriting the cost of the live broadcast, and both the East Corinth General Store and Waits River General Store for catering the event.

VOLUNTEERS
Want to be a part of our all volunteer crew? You can help run lifts and assist at special events! No experience necessary!

The terrain at Northeast Slopes is one of the many reasons this ski hill has remained a local’s favorite for so many years. Beginners
enjoy Northeast Slopes because the smaller of its two ski tows provides
easy access to gentle terrain that is set apart from normal skier
traffic. This makes learning to ski or ride a fun, and non-threatening experience.
Northeast
Slopes has approximately 12 trails on more than 35 skiable acres. A vertical height of 360' and 3 surface lifts - including the new T-bar. Skiers
or boarders with more experience enjoy NES because the main ski tow -
and now the T-bar - access a wide selection of rolling groomed trails
as well as challenging steeps, glades, jumps and a fun terrain park.
With a breathtaking view of Mt Moosilauke from the top, and compact but varied terrain, Northeast Slopes has something for everyone.
